I often stumble on some very old content on Discourse forums (or other places on the Internet) as I’m working my way through a problem, and I enjoy liking the posts that I’ve found helpful even though they may be months or many years old. I like signaling to the author that this helped me this many years later, and quietly saying, “Thank You!”, without the need to bump the topic.
